I was born in Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire, England in 1970. As a child I remember having lots of pencils and paper, so drawing has always been a part of my life. I took art classes at school, but this is the only form of art education I have had.
Being a stay-at-home Mum since 1997 and then later relocating to south east Spain in 2004 with my family, my passion for art has been rekindled.
Over these years I have enjoyed working in graphite, pastels, acrylics and more recently coloured pencils, which I find are the perfect medium to use for pet portraits.
It wasn’t until we went to our first World Superbike race at Cheste, Valencia, that I became a huge fan of motorbike sport (hence my bike paintings on the walls of our dining area!).
I would like to take this opportunity to thank my husband and son for the massive support & encouragement they have given me, for which without it you would not be reading this.
